ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
MDMC was founded in 1991 out of a desire to create a destination for industry leaders to share experiences, showcase new technology, and provide information, tools, and solutions to common problems.
Since then, it has grown to one of the largest disaster management conferences in Canada, attended by more than 500 each year.
In 2021, MDMC was the recipient of the Emergency Management Exemplary Service Award
The Emergency Management Exemplary Service Award is the prestigious national recognition of exceptional service and achievement in the areas of prevention, preparation, response, and recovery from emergencies and disasters in Canada. In 2021, MDMC was selected as a recipient of this award on behalf of Federal, Provincial, and Territorial Senior Officials Responsible for Emergency Management.
